TEACHING
Teaching Philosophy
I adopt student-centered approaches in teaching.
Students should learn by constructing their own knowledge. Teachers are not in a position to “transmit” knowledge to their students, but more to be the facilitators of students’ learning. They are the guide on the side. Teachers’ responsibility is to get students involved in an active mode of learning, both inside and outside the classroom. Setting clear and attainable learning goals facilitate and motivate students to learn. Teachers should also provide diverse learning opportunities for students to integrate their learning to experience.
